From Russia - Alexander Terekhov

Alexander Terekhov è il nome emergente della moda made in Russia. Studia al Moscow Institute of Fashion Design e si fa le ossa lavorando per Yves Saint Laurent a Parigi. Qualche anno dopo si dedica al proprio brand ed entra a far parte della compagnia Rusmoda. Si fa conoscere per lo stile classico e iper femminile delle sue creazioni. La collezione estiva continua a seguire la stessa filosofia. Le linee sono fluide, gli abiti e le gonne lunghi, quasi da dea, adatti a donne forti e glamour che frequentano lidi esclusivi. I colori sono vivi e brillanti, turchese, arancione, fantasie in bianco e nero  in particolare sovrastano tutti gli altri.

La fama di Terekhov è arrivata anche in Italia, al marchio Coccinelle, famoso brand di accessori, che gli ha chiesto di creare una capsule collection di borse. Lo stilista russo ha dichiarato:

“Lavorare con Coccinelle mi ha dato la possibilità di esprimermi in un campo diverso. E’ un grande onore per me collaborare con un marchio italiano leader come Coccinelle”.

Terekhov ha realizzato quattro modelli di borse: una big, una tote, una clutch ed una tracolla. I materiali usati sono semplici, principalmente tela e vitello nappato. L’ispirazione arriva dal Marocco ed visibile nelle stampe africane e nella scelta dei colori turchese ed arancio. Il gusto internazionale incontra il made in Italy.

Alexander Terekhov is the emerging name of made in Russia fashion. He studies at Moscow Institute of Fashion Design and cuts hi teeth working for Yves Saint Laurent in Paris. Some years after he devotes to his own brand and runs the project with Rusmoda company. He makes himself known for the classic and iper feminine style of his creations. The summer collection follows the same philosophy. The lines are fluid, the dresses and the skirts long, almost for a goddess, adapt for strong, joyful, fashionable and glamour women, who attend exclusive shores. The colours are vivid, bright, turquoise, orange, black and white prints overpower all the others.

Terekhov’s fame arrives also in Italy, to Coccinelle, famous accessorize brand, which asked him to create a bags capsule collection. The Russian designer declares: “Working with Coccinelle gave to me the possibility to express myself in a different field. To collaborate with an Italian leader brand like Coccinelle is a great honor for me”.

Terekhov realized four bag’s models: one big, one tone, one clutch and one little shoulder bag. The used fabrics are simple, mostly canvas and napa calf leather. Inspiration arrives from Morocco and it is so evident in the African prints and in the colours’ choice, turquoise and orange. International taste meets made in Italy.
