Laitinen SS 2013 Collection

Laitinen è un marchio scandinavo creato da Tuomas ed Anna Laitinen, fratello e sorella. Il duo di designers è diventato famoso per l’attenzione nei dettagli e per le splendide stampe. Ora, arrivati alla loro collezione estiva 2013, hanno deciso di aggiungere alle loro caratteristiche la sperimentazione nei tessuto, scegliendo nylon e maglia. Anche le silhouettes sono particolari, trapezoidali per l’impermeabile, con tagli ad hoc sul retro per giubbotti e giacche. Laitinen presenta uno stile definito come modern grunge, un abbigliamento urbano, ma rilassato, che conferma la maestria della moda scandinava.

Laitinen is the Scandinavian brand created by Tuomas and Anna Laitinen, brother and sister. The couple of designers is famous for the attention to the details and for the gorgeous prints. Now, arrived to their 2013 summer collection, they decided to add, to all their other characteristics, the experimentation in fabrics, choosing nylon and mesh. Also the silhouettes are unique, trapezoidal for the trench, with ad hoc cuts on the back for jackets and blazers. Laitinen presents a style, called modern grunge, a urban, but relaxed menswear, which confirms the ability of Scandinavian fashion.
