Fabric Division - SS 2012 Collection

FABRIC DIVISION è un progetto dei Fashion Designer Linda Crivellari e Enrico Assirelli. Personalità con formazioni differenti e complementari, Enrico è designer industriale e di prodotto con un forte interesse per la modellistica e per l’architettura del capo, mentre Linda si è laureata in culture e tecniche del costume e della moda, mentalità contemporanea e votata all’innovazione si incontrano a Faenza nell’agosto nel 2009. 

Alla base della loro ricerca esiste una visione di abito unisex, un’immagine dinamica e in mutamento che si libra nell’ambiente metropolitano reinventandosi e dialogando con lo stesso. Focus sui tessuti, superfici riflettenti e sensoriali, e con un carattere decisamente eco, la collezione Spring Summer cattura la nostra attenzione per la sua leggerezza e le trasparenze velate che unite al bianco ottico della felperia e al blu elettrico dei jeans continuano la ricerca di una spirituali che sa prendere inspirazione dal passato arricchendosi, però, con nuovi processi stilistici sperimentali.

FABRIC DIVISION is a venture of the Fashion Designers Linda Crivellari and Enrico Assirelli. Different in their educational paths but complementary in their roles: Enrico is an industrial designer and product designer with a strong interest in pattern cutting and the architecture of the garment; Linda graduated in techniques and cultural values of costume and fashion design, contemporary view point and devoted to innovation.

The official partnership starts and becomes a tangible collaboration in August 2009 at Faenza where they start our continuous research looks more and more into a conception of a unisex garment, a shifting  and dynamic figure that hovers in the metropolitan landscape reinventing itself whilst engaging in an open dialogue with the body and the garment. Focus is given to the fabrics, highly sensorial  and reflective surfaces, which from this season will embrace the sustainable side of it. Lightness and trasparency enhance knitwear’s vibrant and juicy color are the key words for this S/S collection where viscoses and cottons of several grams can face up to different climate and follow new shapes to wear the body.
