God Save The Teens: Anna Hollow

Anna Hatzakis è quasi ancora una bambina. Si fa chiamare Anna Hollow, il suo nome d'artista, perché dice che è un nome più semplice da pronunciare e da ricordare. Anna è nata 1995 nel Sud della California dove oggi studia arte a Monte San Jacinto College. Da piccolina amava disegnare, fino a quando alla tenera età di quattro anni prese in mano la macchina fotografica di sua madre. Ha partecipato a vari concorsi fotografici e le sue foto sono state pubblicate su vari blog tra i quali anche Teen Vogue.  Nel tempo libero le piace guardare film muti, suonare l'ukulele, e leggere ossessivamente biografie di musicisti defunti. La fotografia è la sua vita. Anna è convinta che non farà altro nella vita, anche se vorrà dire lavorare in uno studio piccolissimo e rischiare di non guadagnare tanti soldi. Fotografare è quello che vuole fare a tutti costi.

Anna Hatzakis is almost still a child. Her artist name is Anna Hollow, as she says it is much easier to pronounce and remember. Anna was born in 1995 in Southern California, where she is now studying art at Mount San Jacinto College. As she was verse little she loved painting, until at the tender age of four she took over the camera of her mother. She participated at various photographic contests and her photos have been published on various blogs such as Teen Vogue, Urban Outfitters and Not Common People. In her free time she likes to watch silent movies, play the ukulele, and obsessively read biographies of dead musicians. Photography is her life. Anna is convinced that she will always take pictures, no matter what it will cost.
