Holly Fulton, nata a Edimburgo, qui si diploma al Royal College of Art. I suoi segni distintivi sono le stampe grafiche, gli abiti in jersey di seta e un easy to wear elegante, ma attuale. Rivisita la tradizione sartoriale con tecniche di lavorazione moderne, spingendo al massimo l’utilizzo di superfici decorate, per una continua reinterpretazione del progetto iniziale. Holly ama l’arte decò, l’architettura Bauhaus, il cubismo e le geometrie ed ognuna di queste passione influenza la sua moda. I suoi modelli sono per ragazze vogliono divertirsi e continuare a portare con sè l’estate anche nella stagione fredda.
Infatti la sua collezione FW 2012-13 è un’esplosione di carica di fucsia, turchese e rosso, con punte di nero. La musa di questa linea è Lady Chatterley, scandalosa protagonista del romanzo di D. H. Lawrence, ma si possono riconoscere anche riferimenti alle serre, ai giardini botanici e all’artista pop Peter Max.
Colori brillanti ed abiti sopra il ginocchio, con rimandi alla Garçonne anni '20, dominano una collezione indirizzata a donne audaci, decise ed indipendenti.
Holly Fulton, was born in Edinburgh where she graduated at Royal College of Art. Her trademarks are the graphic prints, silk jersey dresses and an elegant, but up-to-date easy to wear. She revisits the tailoring tradition thank to modern technique of processing, pushing to the limit the use of decorate surfaces, for a continuous reinterpretation of the initial project.
Holly loves art deco, Bauhaus architecture, cubism and geometries and each of these passions influence her fashion. Her models are for girl who want to have fun and to continue bringing with them summer even in the cold season. Infact her FW 2012-13 collection is an explosion full of fuchsia, turquoise and red, with points of black.
Her muse for this line is Lady Chatterley, scandalous protagonist of D. H. Lawrence’s novel, but you can also recognize references to glasshouse, to botanical gardens and to the pop artist Peter Max. The bright colours and the above the knees dresses, with reference to twenties Garçonne, dominate a collection direct to bold, determinate and independent women.
