1. Secondo te cos’è lo stile?
Personalmente credo non riguardi solo come abbini i vestiti, ma è un qualcosa di strettamente legato alla persona. Tutte le persone che ammiro hanno questo attitudine “cool”: informale, nonchalant ma al tempo stesso intelligente ed impegnata!

2. Quali sono gli oggetti che porti sempre con te nella tua borsa e senza i quali non esci?
Balsamo per le labbra, taccuino, portafogli, chiavi, e abbonamento della metro.

3. I tuoi stilisti preferiti.
Ammiro molto stilisti locali e molto molto piccoli qui a Pechino…molto talentuosi! Amo anche Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, le sorelle Mulleavy di Rodarte, Ann Sofie Back, Philip Lim, Phoebe Philo e molti altri!

4. Le tue modelle preferite.
Ora come ora le modelle cinesi, prima non ce n’erano molte ma adesso c’è una bella presenza. Amo Liu Wen e Fei Fei Sun.

5. Il tuo outfit perfetto per il giorno.
Adesso sto vivendo a Pechino e fa caldissimo! Indosso sempre shorts e tank tops over con sotto canottiere maschili!

6. Il tuo outfit perfetto per la notte.
Per le occasioni speciali indosso sempre un vestitino nero con tacchi vertiginosi! Se invece la situazione è meno formale, un bel blazer con qualcosa di casual.

7. Secondo te quali sono i trend di quest’anno?
Penso il colore, che è protagonista di quest’estate e che credo rivedremo anche in inverno.

8. Chi/cosa ispira/ha ispirato il tuo stile?
Crescendo avevo come modello mia mamma. Era sempre super minimalista e indossava i grandi nomi newyorkesi degli anni ’90 come Calvin  Klein e Donna Karan… quindi indossavo sempre capi bianchi/neri/beige dai tagli semplici e forti. Però amo anche il rock’n’roll, quindi ho la tendenza ad indossare molta pelle, pellicce e pezzi appariscenti. 

9. Se avessi un vestitino nero basico, come lo renderesti originale?
Lo taglierei e ricucirei da capo. Non l’ho mai fatto prima. Non mi piacciono molto gli accessori, quindi non li indosserei ma piuttosto ri-vestirei il vestito!

10. Cosa c’è nella tua wishlist ora?
Lo dico sempre, una Chanel 2.55, oppure un Ipad!

11. Con i tacchi o senza?
Vale dire platforms? Ahah. Di giorno, uso sempre le ballerina, perchè le strade di Pechino sono scomode…quindi niente tacchi per me. La notte, allora posso fare un’eccezione.

12. C’è qualcosa nel tuo armadio che ti imbarazza?
Non lo saprete mai!

13. L’oggetto che ami di più nel tuo armadio?
Non posso più indossarli ma sono dei sabot di Yves Saint Laurent di mia mamma con i quali giocavo quando ero piccola…sono troppo piccoli ora!

14. Come mai hai aperto un tuo blog?
Per scappare dalla realtà!

1.In your opinion what is style?
Personally, it's not only how you put together clothes but how you carry yourself. all of the people i really admire just have this really cool vibe; effortless, nonchalant, but intelligent and thoughtful!

2. Which are the items that are always in your bag and that you don’t go out without?
Burt's Bees, tissue paper, my wallet, keys and metro card.

3. Which are your favorite designers?
i'm really into a lot of local, very very small designers here in beijing---so much talent! I also love Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, the Mulleavy sisters from Rodarte, Ann Sofie Back, Philip Lim, Phoebe Philo and many more!

4. Which are your favorite models?
Right now. Chinese models. growing up there weren't many of them, but now there's a stronger presence. I love Liu Wen and Fei Fei Sun

5. Your perfect outfit for the morning.
Right now I live in Beijing and it's sweltering! I always wear cut off shorts and a loose tank top, usually mens undershirts! 

6. Your perfect outfit for the night.
For something special always a small little dress and high high high heels! If it's something more casual, a blazer paired with something really casual.

7. In your opinion, which are the most important 2011 trends?
Mmm I think it's the continuation of color. Color was huge for Spring 2011 and I'm happy to see it continued into the fall.

8. Who/ What inspires/inspired your style?
When i was growing up I was really inspired by my mother. She was super minimalist and wore a lot of big 90's new york designers like Calvin Klein and Donna Karen....so I always find myself going back to whites/black/beiges and strong simple cuts. On the other hand I love rock n roll, so i have a tendency to wear a lot of leather, fur coats and more showier pieces. 

9. If you had a basic black dress, how would you make it original and stylish?
I'd probably cut it myself and resew it! I've done it before. I'm not huge on accessories anymore, so I wouldn't dress it up...rather re-dress the dress!

10. Which are the items in your wish list now?
I always say this but a Chanel 2.55. Or more recently I've been itching to get an iPad!

11. Heels or flats?
Does platforms count as in between? Hahah. For the day, always always flats. The roads here in Beijing can be treacherous...so no 6 inch heels for me. At night, I will make an exception for heels.

12. Is there an item in your wardrobe that you are embarrassed about?
You'll never know!

13. The most loved items you have in your wardrobe
I can't wear them anymore but a pair of YSL mules that i used to play dress up in when i was growing up. They belong to my mother and are a size 5! 2 sizes too small.

14. Why did you start writing on your blog?
Because I wanted to escape from reality!
