At Home With: Diane Von Furstenberg

Fu una vera sfida per Diane Von Furstenberg trasferirsi nella zona del Meatpacking District di Manhattan, che si diceva essere una zona piena di "puzza di macellerie e pullulante di drag queen", ma che le ricordava incredibilmente il Belgio. La stilista ha saputo ricreare una sorta di "quartier generale" della moda firmato Von Furstenberg, in cui c'è da una parte il suo showroom e difronte, a far quasi da torre di controllo, la sua abitazione. Entrati nella sua dimora ritroviamo il gusto per l'animalier, per l'arte, fotografie, libri, ogni muro è ispirato da gioia, saggezza, trasformazione. Di recente ha affermato che da giovane viveva come un'anziana donna di 65 anni, e che ora nella maturità sia professionale che anagrafica, vive come una giovane donna piena di ispirazione. It was a real challenge for Diane Von Furstenberg to move in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, that they say to be a place full of "stinks of butcher shops and swarming of drag queen", but that remember to her incredibly the Belgium.  The designer knew to recreate a sort of "general district" of the fashion signed Von Furstenberg, in which there is in a part its showroom and in front of it,a kind of tower of control, her residence.  Entered in the house we find the flavor for the animalier, for the art, photography, books, every wall is inspirng from joy, wisdom, transformation. Few time ago she affirmed that when she was young  she lived like an elderly 65-year-old woman , and that now in the professional and personal maturity, lives  like a young woman full of inspiration.
