May 24th, 2023
Carhartt WIP magazine, publication number 08 published by Carhartt, is back on the most coveted international shelves and in Carhartt shops. This edition features American singer and guitarist Fousheé on the cover, the TikTok star and author of some of the songs that have gone viral on the app in recent years, and collaborator with renowned artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Lacy. This edition is also packed with immersive features covering current and inspirational topics, such as a profile on Los Angeles sculptor Diana Yesenia Alvarado, an in-depth look at the work of New York-based BlackMass Publishing, the hidden architectural treasures that can still be found in Italy, and an article exploring a skater rehabilitation site.
The magazine takes a journey through some of Carhartt WIP fans' favourite cities, such as Berlin, for an editorial with Steffen Grap, Tokyo, narrated by the Japanese capital's graffiti artists, Belfast, with an interview by writer Michael Magee, and evocative essays composed by a community of New York skateboarders. In fervent anticipation of REX Club's 35th anniversary celebrations, Carhartt WIP rediscovers their Parisian archives.
