Carhartt expands on rue Saint Honoré with the opening of a second store
The famous Paris street that saw the brand set up in France
September 25th, 2024
Twenty years ago, Carhartt WIP opened its first French store on the east side of Rue Saint-Honoré, contributing to the already vibrant energy of the neighborhood. Today, the brand strengthens its historic connection with the area by opening a second adjacent store. Designed by Salomee Faeh and Milanese architect studio Andrea Caputo, the new store is located at 72 Rue Saint-Honoré and currently houses the men’s collection, seamlessly integrating into the existing architecture while adding a touch of modernity. The space pays tribute to the city’s rich architectural heritage, where natural wood furniture is contrasted by industrial details such as concrete surfaces and galvanized steel rails.
As a result of this expansion, the original store at 66 Rue Saint-Honoré is now dedicated to the women’s collection. Launched in 2000, this collection has continuously grown, emphasizing functional pieces in line with the brand’s utilitarian heritage. For the first time in France, a retail space is entirely devoted to it. To celebrate the store opening, Carhartt collaborated with the Parisian brand Personalities to create a series of t-shirts for both men and women. The capsule will be available exclusively at the two Carhartt WIP stores on Rue Saint-Honoré starting from Thursday, September 26. The launch event, organized by Personalities, will take place from 6 PM to 10 PM.
