Carhartt WIP presents its SS20 lookbook
The brand updates its essentials with innovative design and functional materials
February 11th, 2020
Carhartt WIP has always been synonymous with workwear, managing to find the perfect balance between functionality and coolness.
Even in the SS20 collection the American brand follows this philosophy and introduces an updated selection of its signature products. Iconic items, such as Single Knee Pant and Detroit Jacket, have been made of a sturdy cotton canvas and are occasionally enriched by contrasting stitching. The models, which mix elements of sportswear with essentials and functional pieces, offer even more quality thanks to materials such as premium velvet and GORE-TEX coating. The colour palette is minimalist with shades of forest green, khaki, orange and black brightened by hints of lime green and pastel pink, as well as prints. Camouflage adds a special touch to short-sleeved button-up shirts, hooded rain jackets and messenger bags, while all-over prints give a playful twist and alternate with stripes and checks, classic workwear graphics.
The Carhartt WIP SS20 collection, presented with a lookbook shot by Thibaut Grevet and starring artists Courtesy, Oko, Tabitha, Thorlu-Bangura and Vic Crezée, is available at the brand's stores, website and global retailers.
