Kappa exhibition at White Street Market
The Turin brand showed off 15 vintage jerseys that the visitors of the Milanese festival appreciated a lot
January 17th, 2019
One of the absolute protagonists of the White Street Market that has just ended was undoubtedly the Kappa corner, expecially the most nostalgic football fans. The Turin brand has exposed 15 historical jerseys, carefully selected by the nss sports staff, for an exhibition called "Kappa - above the football jersey". A dive into the past, and precisely in the middle of the 90s, when Kappa was the technical sponsor of the most prestigious teams in the world: Lippi's Juventus, AC Milan's European champion, Ronaldo's Barça, the Italian National team runner-up at Euro 2000 (yes, that of Totti's 'panenka') but also less competitive and equally unforgettable clubs like Roberto Baggio's Brescia, Djibril Cissé's Auxerre and 'picciotti's' Palermo.
The reason why the Kappa stand was very popular for all three days was also #Shot4Kappa, the game organized by Kappa and nss sports that tested the skills and accuracy of the visitors' shots and that involved more than 500 participants. On Sunday afternoon, moreover, the Kappa playground was also the scene of a 4-match challenge, always with the ball: the Shot4Kappa Tournament between Guerrilla FC, Calcetto Eleganza, Patrick Reborn Project and nss sports in which we managed to win, after an exhausting series of shots. What can we say, the best way to finish a memorable weekend!
