2050+ and Slam Jam together for BODIES IN FLUX
The event that explores the idea of the body as a field of experimentation and reinvention
March 11th, 2022
The digital think-tank CIRCLE presents BODIES IN FLUX, the second episode of a cycle of public programs curated by 2050+ and Slam Jam. Drawing from the worlds of xenomania, Paralympic sport and cyberart, the event explores the idea of the body as a terrain for experimentation and reinvention, in which the biological limits linked to sensoriality can be challenged through interaction with the external environment and technologies.
The public program, introduced and moderated by 2050+, will feature Paralympic athletes and mountaineers Andrea Lanfri and Massimo Coda, feminist researcher and activist Helen Hester and curator Linda Rocco. With a performance by artist Manel De Aguas, a sound installation created by Radio Safari and a reading of excerpts from the anthology Le Visionarie (Nero, 2018) with Anna Charlotte Barbera.
