It is undeniable that in recent years one of the design pieces that has permeated our lives most extensively is the stainless steel bottles by 24Bottles, the Bolognese brand that has become one of the new classics of sustainable design in the last ten years. And it is precisely on the occasion of the new edition of Milan Design Week that the brand has announced its first collaboration with Van Orton, the duo of Turin brothers and artists who reinterpret icons of pop culture with two-dimensional images reminiscent of the ancient stained glass windows of cathedrals. The claim of the collaboration is Eyes On Future: looking at the invisible and its purpose is to keep awareness alive on often neglected issues, such as environmental degradation and social inequalities through an exploration of the link between individuals and the universe, inviting to observe more deeply the invisible consequences of one's actions for a better future of nature and the humans who inhabit it. On the occasion of the project presentation at Milan Design Week, 24Bottles offers the opportunity to customize the products at the 24Lab corner located at 15 Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and to have them customized with the freehand decorations by the Bonora Brothers. Furthermore, the collaboration will be celebrated with an event related to Urban Art and the 90s: on Saturday, April 20th at Court MLN there will be a basketball tournament between Milan and Bologna, represented by the ZonePlus team, a symbolic challenge between the city of Design Week and the roots of 24Bottles. During the event, which will take place from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, there will also be freestyle performances by DaMove, wall art by Francesca Cassani, and again the presence of the Bonora Brothers for live customizations. The collaboration includes two exclusive versions of the famous 24Bottles Clima Bottle (their most iconic product, designed to keep drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24) produced in two blue and orange colorways and decorated with Van Orton's artwork, representing a tiger whose eyes appear through two human hands – almost representing a continuity between the natural and animal worlds. The core of the Van Orton duo's artwork has focused precisely on these founding values: by drawing human hands joined with animal eyes, surrounded by geometric decorative elements such as symmetrical lines, dots, triangles, and cubes, the two wanted to symbolize the indissoluble bond between humanity and the natural world. At the center of these depictions is the totem animal, the tiger – an iconographic element that, besides representing courage and strength, is indeed a living example of mimicry, capable of becoming invisible in its natural environment, becoming one with it through the construction of an almost symbiotic relationship.

The bottles from the Van Orton x 24Bottles collaboration are available at selected retailers worldwide, on the official 24bottles.com website, and in the flagship stores of Milan and Rome.
