Supreme SS 2013 Capsule Collection

Con la fine di questa stagione Supreme decide di rendere omaggio alla storica etichetta indipendente Wackies con una mini collezione di tees. 

Fondata nel 1970 da Llyod Barnes a White Plains Road nel Bronx, specializzata in Reggae e Dub music, viene considerata da molti la prima vera etichetta Reggae negli Stati Uniti, forse perché lo stesso Lloyd “BullWackie” Barnes era nato in Jamaica. 

Ma tornando a quello che più ci interessa, la mini capsule collection in questione è composta da cinque t-shirt, un tank top ed un 5-panel. Tutte le grafiche provengono da originali artwork, direttamente dagli archivi di Wackies. Per maggiori info

By the end of this season Supreme decided to pay tribute to the historic independent label Wackies with a mini collection of tees.

Founded in 1970 by Lloyd Barnes in White Plains Road in the Bronx, specializing in Reggae and Dub music, is considered by many the first true reggae label in the United States, perhaps because the same Lloyd "BullWackie" Barnes was born in Jamaica.
