Garage Italia unveils the new collaborative watch with Hublot
'Big Bang Millennial Pink' is a no gender limited edition of true luxury
July 10th, 2020
Unique and different. Garage Italia keeps developing and expanding its own concept of luxury and presents its latest project: Big Bang Millennial Pink. In collaboration with Hublot, one of the best-known luxury watches manufacturers, Lapo Elkann's hub has created a no gender chronograph, designed to celebrate equality and for this reason, declined in Millennial Pink.
In recent years, this shade hovering between powder pink and pastel, beige and salmon, apricot and pomegranate, a hue that does not belong exclusively to women's or men's worlds, has become increasingly popular, symbolizing a completely new generation that is breaking down the boundaries between genders. According to Elkann:
At Garage Italia, we want to be part of a world where the character of every person is defined by their love of life and their inclusivity, rather than by their power or their superiority. More than simply a product, we want to create something which represents a positive change.
More than just a status symbol costing €20,700, it is a real positive message against gender discrimination. The watch is a small jewel of design and functionality, made of light modern aluminium, a monochrome, anodized and satin-finished unisex material. The Unico manufacture movement, with a 72-hour power reserve, boasts a chronograph mechanism on the side of the dial and a column wheel that gives a stronger twist to the look.
The Big Bang Millennial Pink comes in a limited edition of only 200 pieces and is available including two interchangeable straps: a rubber option finished with a titanium clasp and a velcro/PES knit blend counterpart.
