Opening Ceremony x Agolde lookbook
The irreverent spirit of LA mixed wit Opening Ceremony's New York vibes
March 1st, 2017
Opening Ceremony collaborates with Agolde for a capsule collection " that reimagines classic silhouettes fusing the irreverent spirit of LA with OC's New York touch". The premium denim brand Agolde founded by Jerome Dahan - the man behind major label such as 7 For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity - and the creation of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon realize six pieces divided into two groups: "Graphics" and "Carpenter". In the first, there are two 5-pocket jeans decorated with the Open Ceremony logo on the hem and bold graphics, while in the second features color blocking and patch pockets on jacket, skirt and pants. The color palette includes dark blue, off-white, black, lime green tones. Each piece has its roots in the classic denim work but updated for the modern woman. The entire collection is produced locally in Los Angeles and will be on sale from 198 to $ 275 on the OC e-commerce site and in its stores in Los Angeles and New York.
" There was a great synergy throughout the design and development process and the collection evolved organically, which I think is evident in the assortment and lends true to both brands' vision", said Agolde's creative director Karen Phelps talking about the capsule. What do you think?
