ANTI-DO-TO supported Gaza freestyle in completing its skatepark in Gaza
After the launch of a capsule collection to finance it
October 8th, 2021
Last April we reported on ANTI-DO-TO's project to build a skatepark in Gaza, designed and developed by the organisation GAZA FREESTYLE and financed through a capsule collection, the proceeds of which were used to complete the project together with 50% of the net profits of the entire collection. After a long series of works, the Ha'Ramba Skatepark has finally been completed, creating a true creative hub for the hundreds of artists and skaters who visit it regularly. A place of freedom, escape and openness.
The project was born in September last year, when ANTI-DO-TO got in touch with volunteer skaters from GAZA FREESTYLE to help them complete the construction of a skatepark in Gaza harbour. A place designed to provide an inclusive and open meeting point and freedom for young Gazans, but also a creative hub where young people's dreams can be born and grow. After more than a year the work is complete, bringing to fruition a project of great social significance.
To listen to the voices of the protagonists, but also to continue to support the cause by buying the capsule, you can visit the ANTI-DO-TO website.
