The Italian experience of Jaguar and Land Rover at the 2020 Golf Challenge Final
Cars, starred chefs and some green
June 10th, 2021
Despite a difficult 2020, Jaguar and Land Rover confirmed its commitment and passion for the world of golf by hosting the national final of the Jaguar Land Rover Golf Challenge 2020 at the San Domenico Golf Club in Borgo Egnazia. For the occasion, the British car manufacturer created an ad hoc experience for those present, an immersion in Italian aesthetics made of cars, excellent cuisine and outdoor relaxation on the golf courses.
Representing the company's values were two top-level Ambassadors on the golf course such as Francesco Laporta and Renato Paratore, who with their talent guided those present in an experience of approaching the green in the splendid setting of the Apulian Golf Club. There, Jaguar and Land Rover's guests let themselves be guided by Laporta and Paratore between one hole and another, letting themselves be carried away by the charm of the location. Once they left the green, those present were able to test some of the Jaguar and Land Rover cars on the road, thus passing from the calm of the golf course to the adrenaline of the British company's super sports cars. An experience that could only end with a starred aperitif signed by chef Isabell Potì in the Borgo Egnazia location.
An experience that in addition to having given a memorable adventure to those present, once again underlined the Golf Vision Strategy of Jaguar and Land Rover, which has been active on the green for 35 years with its Golf Challenge, a real point of reference appreciated among the circuits amateur. A commitment that over the years has given way to achieve significant results, such as a considerable increase in the number of golfers and non-golfers, attracted by the prestige of the tournament and the experiences that characterize it.
