ASICS Tiger & Colette present YUKATA

Colette collaborates with ASICS Tiger to revisit the famous GEL-Lyte V with a design inspired by the Yukata, a Japanese word that describes a light summer kimono worn by both men and women.

Brothers and illustrators Nico and Jean Jullien have combined Colette’s Parisian roots with ASICS Tiger’s Japanese heritage by reinterpreting a traditional Japanese folk tale.

The sneakers, which will be presented during Tokyo Fashion Week, will be available in two versions: one electric blue made of printed leather with two-tone mesh and a white one made of embroidered leather. The two models are characterised by contrasting stripes on one side, the Colette and the ASICS Tiger logo embroidered on the heel, and the presence of two pairs of waxed laces. 

The ASICS Tiger x Colette YUKATA capsule collection will be on sale from Saturday, October 22 at Colette in Paris and United Arrows & Sons in Tokyo.
