Tokyo Fashion Week is coming to an end - an occasion that, year after year, comes closer and closer to becoming the "distant sister" of the three western fashion weeks, highlighting the extraordinary work and skills of the designers who have established their brands in Japan. Among other things, Tokyo is the city where street style was invented and so it's no surprise both that guests at shows and presentations showed up in their best outfits and that Tanase's lens captured so many interesting looks. In particular, this season, compared to a series of very discreet colorways to emerge was an emphasis on construction and silhouettes, all designed to make a mark.
