The new adidas UltraBOOST Uncaged

The latest jewel of the adidas running family is called UltraBOOST Uncaged and, as its name suggests, doesn’t put any limit to the wearer’s foot.

To increase the performance of the original model, adidas has improved the internal structure of the forefoot using a technology developed for the best champions in the athletics’ world. The adidas Primeknit upper, completely redesigned, provides breathability and natural movement with every stride combined with a knit collar, around the ankle, which adapts to the stresses. A new multi-layer lacing system allows runners to customise style and fit, while the flat laces offer comfort and stability.

UltraBOOST uncaged, however, retains the characteristics of the UltraBOOST family: the reinforcement of the heel keeps the foot locked ensuring additional stability, the presence of BOOST all along the midsole provides an energy return without equal, while the Stretchweb Continental™ outsole flexes naturally ensuring optimal grip at every step.
