Hunger 8 - George the poet
We've got Issues
February 19th, 2015
Hunger Magazine, the magazine of Rankin, is back on newsstands.
For its 8th edition, the mag, this time edited by Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, multiplies.
5 covers with Erin O'Connor (limited edition), Mae Lapres, Yumi Lambert, Charlotte Kay, Cora Emmanuel.
A single theme: "WE'VE GOT ISSUES".
Inside pages are filled with eclectic figures from Lindsay Lohan talks about her acting career in Hollywood-a service dedicated to Heidi Klum, from the interview with Kris Van Assche to that at Alessandro Dell'Acqua.
In the midst of all these characters stands George the Poet, the most acclaimed rapper of the moment in England.
24 years old, born and raised in the suburbs of London, from parents originating in Uganda, with a degree in Psychology and Sociology at Cambridge University, not a rapper like everyone else.
He wants to educate the world against the social ignorance and racism, launching positive messages, through his music, but also cinema and literature (Exits for 19th February a collection of his poems entitled George The Poet Search Party).
