Presented with a phygital world tour last July, the 7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara collection was one of the most interesting of Moncler's Genius Project, able to blend the languages of the two legendary brands with a mixture of Fujiwara's classic references to vintage clothes, military uniforms and techwear with Moncler's traditional codes. The collection is also accompanied by collaboration in the collaboration for the creation of a footwear capsule with Converse for a new model of Chuck 70 – silhouette chosen by Fujiwara for its cultural ubiquity, symbolic of the spirit of Moncler Genius.
The 7 Moncler Fragment x Converse Chuck 70 will be available in two colourways, white and black, with a rich assortment of graphic details that reread its style in a modern-minimalist key without altering its basic design. The only real change to the silhouette is to the sole, which is enriched with a black mudguard with contrasting graphics. Also, in contrast, are the stitchings that decorate the upper, while the branding is very particular: that of Converse is one of the vintage logos of the Chuck Taylor line and not the modern one and is not present on the outer side of the tongue but on the inner and back of the sole; Fragment, on the other hand, in the form of pure graphic symbols, appears on the heel and on the black mudguard.
