The first capsule collection from RETROSUPERFUTURE x Marcelo Burlon County of Milan
Three exclusive silhouettes for the Milanese street scene
August 6th, 2020
A few days after the release of the capsule collection in collaboration with Woolrich, RETROSUPERFUTURE has announced a new exclusive partnership with Marcelo Burlon. The project was born from the shared history of RSF and Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, two brands that have shaped the Milan urban fashion scene in the last decade. Both of them well-known for their street aesthetic, the two creative forces have merged their visual languages to create three new silhouettes: Templo, Lowrider and Soberano. Each model has an essential design that reinterprets the iconic references of the '90s in a contemporary key.
The first model is Templo, an oversize silhouette with a thick structure (among which the TEMPLO URBAN CAMO INFRARED stands out, a lively black and white camouflage model with red mirrored lenses). The second model, Lowrider, presents a sharp silhouette with a wide and narrow front and equally thin rectangular lenses. Then Soberano, the latest silhouette in the series, is characterized by an aerodynamic front, carefully modeled and inspired by the classic sports references. All three designs have been combined with the iconic finishes of Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, from the iconic wing prints to the characteristic colors of the brand, such as electric blue and neon in general.
