Canada Goose unveils Branta's first spring collection
A series of items in collaboration with visual artist James Clar exploring the relationship between nature, light and art

Branta, the line that revisits Canada Goose's heritage with new stylistic codes, debuts with its first spring collection. Created in collaboration with James Clar, the limited edition outwear pieces are inspired by The Art of Light, the work of the visual artist who explores the intersection between man and technology, but above all, the transformative power of light.
The result is five outerwear pieces, available both for men and women, that mix functionality and style: Lumen Trench Coat, Polaris Anorak, Helios Jacket, Clara Trench Coat and Solis Jacket. Each of them features innovative elements and hi-tech materials such as military-inspired quilting, premium finishes and original reflective details, as well as a lightweight down padding with Heirloom insulation, windproof and water-resistant system. In addition, for greater resistance, the Canada Goose team has introduced the Ventile® lining, an exclusive 100% cotton fabric with a dense weave that is water and wind-resistant. Available in total-black or military green and equipped with a backpack or shoulder bag where they can be easily stored, the jackets are characterized by long strips made of reflective material, inspired by the wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum of light.
In order to celebrate the Branta SS20 capsule collection, which is already available online, the brand launches on Instagram Elements of Spring, an AR filter that creates light rays around the user simulating the colours of spring and the typical climatic agents of the period (wind, sun, rain), but also the frequency with which they can change.
