Daily Paper meets Van Gogh
The new collection of the Dutch brand in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum
February 12th, 2020
For its latest collection, lifestyle and fashion brand Daily Paper has joined forces with the Van Gogh Museum to design a clothing line that is a perfect combination of art and fashion.
The collaboration is the result of Van Gogh Connects, the project through which the museum aims at becoming more and more relevant and current for the new generations. The collection features a total of 21 items and presents a contemporary design in the Daily Paper style with silk-screened prints of paintings, drawings, and quotes by the famous artist. Alongside some of his most iconic works such as 'Iris' (1890) and 'Self-portrait as a painter' (1887-1888), several sketches and lesser-known works by Van Gogh play a significant role in this clothing line.
The campaign was shot by photographer Nick van Tiem in Amsterdam, the hometown of both Van Gogh and Daily Paper.
The collection will be accompanied by a documentary on YouTube releasing on February 14 and will be available at Daily Paper stores, online and in the Van Gogh Museum shop from February, 15 2020.
