Longevity. A loyal fan base, grown increasingly over the course of the years. Doing what you want, avoiding being "popular" at all costs.
These are just some of the things Converse has in common with the Suicidal Tendencies.
The connection between these two apparently different realities is so strong that the US brand has decided to pay homage to the legendary thrash metal band with a special capsule collection that includes apparel and two new models of Chuck Taylor 70, both in "Hi" and "Low" versions.
The first model is decorated with an all-over digital print that incorporates several artworks that recall the posters of their 80s concerts created by Ric Clayton; while the second has a black upper and the Suicidal Tendencies logo on the sides of the heel.
The Converse x Suicidal Tendencies collection includes also a woven poplin shirt, two hooded pullovers, sweatpants, sweatshirts, a long-sleeved shirt and two T-shirts.
The prices range from $90-95 USD for the sneakers to $35-80 USD for the apparel.
