Last week, pork producer Farmland Foods pointed out the similarity between its logo and the one used by Supreme for the new FW18 Horizon 5-Panel cap, tweeting to the New York brand “Hey #Supreme, that logo looks super familiar. We missed the drop – what do you think about sending a few our way? #FARMLANDxSUPREME” and then “Give us a heads up next time you’re ready for a collab, #Supreme. We’ve got the perfect models”.
You got it. Now Farmland Foods has decided to go on with the ironic attack. How? Not with a simple legal action, but by making old farmers wear items of the New York brand.
The Missouri company has brought streetwear to the countryside, including hay bales and tractors, livestock fences and sheds.
Will Supreme be able to conquer a new target until now unexplored? Maybe, the only certainty is that Farmland Foods vs. Supreme could be the coolest troll of the season!
