Will Martine Rose really collaborate with Supreme? The post-Tremaine Emory brand relaunch gets off to a great start

The FW24 collection of Supreme will continue its tradition of iconic collaborations. After unveiling link-ups with Tyler, the Creator, co-signing new clogs with Nike, and a capsule with Ducati, the streetwear giant seems ready to surprise once again with a new partnership. This time, the rumors involve a collaboration with British-Jamaican designer Martine Rose. The Anglo-Jamaican designer has carved out a niche in fashion thanks to her ability to blend subcultural elements with innovative designs, revolutionizing the streetwear scene since 2007, the year she launched her eponymous label. Her approach, influenced by '90s rave culture, British football, and her personal experiences, has made her a key figure both in underground circles and in high fashion. But the big question now is: Will Martine Rose really collaborate with Supreme? And what can we expect from this potential collaboration?

Even though neither Supreme nor Martine Rose have officially confirmed the collaboration, rumors are spreading quickly. The buzz started after information leaked about a possible collection set to drop during the much-anticipated Week 4 of Supreme's release calendar this winter. The rumor seems quite credible, given that Rose has frequently collaborated with brands like Nike, Clarks, and Stella Artois and worked at Balenciaga, forging much of her own aesthetic and approach. While it's still all at the rumor level, reports suggest that the collection will be larger than usual: SNKRDNK Magazine mentioned a wide range of clothing and accessories, including puffer jackets, patchwork shirts, and football jerseys, along with a t-shirt dedicated to Lee Scratch Perry, the legendary Jamaican producer and musician. Accessories are also expected, such as a mini duffle bag, a personalized magazine, and a pair of Clarks shoes.

As for the actual release, everyone is talking about a date in Week 4 of the winter drops, specifically September 12, 2024, with a release in Asia on September 14. We'll only have to wait a few more days to find out if the rumor is true or not.
