We talked with MRBLD, the most reliable Instagram source of leaks and news about Supreme: we asked him what we should expect from the Supreme SS18 and some other information on super hot topics. #1 What do you think about the imminent Supreme x Nike Air Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus collaboration? Which colorway do you prefer, the black or the OG White/Black/Red Habanero?
I wouldn‘t wear them but the OG colorway looks pretty interesting. I don‘t wear any Air Maxes. I literally just wear skate shoes.
#2 What do you think of the Supreme SS18 collection? Which collaborations would you like to see and which ones not?
I really like the collection. Lots of good items. It feels a bit like back to the roots. I’m actually pretty hyped on the previewed collabs like Daniel Johnston and Hellraiser. Also the Public Enemy x Undercover was lit. I don‘t want to see a collab like Louis Vuitton again.
#3 Supreme's FW17 hasn’t totally convinced old fans and brand’s hardened veterans. What do you think of the latest Supreme moves? Do you think the brand has taken a different turn after the collabo with Louis Vuitton?
Supreme didn‘t change much but small details. Louis Vuitton collab was pretty ironic in some way. Also the items of the collab were pretty ironic because of the inspirations from Dapper Dan from the 80s.
#4 What are your favorite accessories of the SS18?
I‘m not a big fan of accessories. But the Pinball Machine and Kayak are pretty dope!
#5 In a Tweet last December you wrote that the Supreme Store in Milan could be the next one on the list of the new openings. Do you have any more info about it to give us?
I don‘t have an exact date but it will definitely be the next Supreme store. There are others planned too. I‘m hearing about three more locations at the moment.
