The best sneakers spotted at the Seoul Fashion Week SS20

After the Western Big Four fashion cities, the time has come to focus on the Asian fashion weeks, always the most innovative and cutting edge, both in terms of trends and emerging labels. After seeing the best street style made in Seoul, we'de decided to stay in South Korea to discover which are the sneakers that fashion enthusiasts and hypebeasts of the city are wearing. 

As our photographer Su Shan Leong was telling us, the Korean crowd prefers Nike and FILA silhouettes, one of the most beloved sportswear brands along with Salomon. When it comes to luxury sneakers brands like Valentino and Chanel are rising, while Balenciaga silhouettes keep on trending, even in dozens of counterfeit reiterations. Classic Converse Chuck Taylor could not be missing, even better if in the JW Anderson edition. Black and white tones are balanced with big logos and neon accents, Virgil Abloh's red tags leave space for more low-key and under the radar sneakers, far from the European hype.
