KICKIT, the first sneaker marketplace in Rome, finally proves that sneaker culture in Italy is growing every day bigger and stronger.
Passion was tangible in the air and the over 2000 visitors of the market were walking around with eyes fulfilled with enthusiasm. Relevant collectors and resellers could have been seen through the international guests, names like Mesh and Laces or Egotrips Need More Sneakers from Berlin, the Parisian Sneakmystile, the Dutch collectors Shoenica and many others, brought some of the rarest and coolest sneakers in the game. Also, Italian guests like Pizza Hype brought an amazing selection of sneakers and streetwear, including a huge load of stuff from recent supreme drops.

Different generation, styles, and attitudes, reunited under the sign of a strong passion. In terms of turnout, the event was an indisputable success, with people waiting in line up to one hour in order to get in. All this means that something is changing. Italy is every day more relevant when it comes to sneaker culture. The simple fact that an event like this received this kind of feedback from both media and people means a lot for the future of Italian sneaker culture.
