From past to present: Nokia 3310 is back
Nostalgia
February 28th, 2017
It was better when it was worse. Nostalgia is the real trend of recent years, key in the successful TV series like "Stranger Things" or 90s orphans designers as Demna Gvasalia, Gosha Rubchinskiy. Now this feeling that makes us regret the past, is also applied to technology, science should always be focused on the future, but, for once, come back 12 years to get us back to wrap our hands around a Nokia 3310. Of course now the phone, presented during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, is smaller, more compact, lighter than the old model, can surf the Internet, take pictures and especially make you play Snake. The 2017 version, which will cost 49 euro, has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, a slot for microSD and will be available red, yellow, blue and gray. The best feature? A practically unbeatable autonomy: 31 days in standby and 22 hours of calls. Not bad, but still small when compared with the many apps a smartphone any, but here what matters is not its technical and commercial viability. The only important thing is to return to a time when we were young, carefree, and we could spend time playing with Snake.
