Kanye West's new album Swish has a release date

The news has been revealed by West himself through his Twitter profile, collecting more than 150,000 retweets in less than 24 hours. The final tracklist has not been revealed yet, but in the last two years, the rapper has come out with several songs:

#1 Only One, published on December 2014 in collaboration with Paul McCartney, is a tribute to North, the first daughter he had with his wife, Kim Kardashian, and is sung as if it was a real message to Kanye by his mother, Donda West.

#2 All Day, originally leaked in August 2014, has been released as a single on March 2, 2015. It received a nomination for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the 58th Grammy Awards.

#3 Wolves, in collaboration with Sia and Vic Mensa, debuted on February 12, 2015 at the fashion show for the presentation of the West's collaboration with adidas, for the Yeezy Boost.

#4 Facts, celebrates his partnership with adidas and denounces its connection with its competitor, Nike. The cover of the song is a photograph (taken by a fan, Talia Azadian, during Kanye's performance at the Powerhouse of LA in May 2015) and portrays the singer wearing a pair of adidas UltraBoost. The picture also reminds us of the classic Jordan logo... chance?!

#5 Real Friends, is the last song that came out, deleted and reposted on SoundCloud three times, because West was not satisfied with the sound quality.

The song focuses on the torment of having fake friends around, but also the one of being a bad friend. It also contains a fragment of the song No More Parties in LA, in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.

The fact that West has released two of his songs - Facts and Real Friends - on Friday, it's not a case: Kanye is honoring the tradition of the G.O.O.D. Fridays he already used in 2010 to promote his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted. Once again, the aim is to load a new song every Friday until to 11 February 2016, the official date for the release of Swish.
