The unique talent of Venerus

Asian Fake keeps establishing itself as the most interesting label in the Milanese and Italian scene, that with great expertise is able to find the most gifted artists out there.

Andrea Venerus, aka just Venerus, 26 years old, comes from Milan, but are the five years spent in London that definitely changed and left a mark on his taste and on his music. Another city important in his journey is Rome, where he went to record an album, and then became his city of adoption.

The contemporary soul world of Venerus became well known to the big audience with singles like Non Ti Conosco and Dreamliner, which anticipated the new EP A Che Punto È La Notte, releasing today, November 16.
The record is a mix of different genres, jazz, soul and electronic, and in most of the songs is Andrea himself to play the instruments, with the production of Mace and Frenetik&Orang3.

"For the first time I write and I sing in Italian, I can finally express myself in my native language and it means a lot. During my years of study at the conservatory in England, I kept thinking "Music - Music - Music", sound was everything. Now I can tell, I can tell about myself: it was the missing piece."
