The clues were already all there.
Think of it: a hit called Fashion Killa that quoted virtually all major fashion brands from Jean Paul Gaultier to Jil Sanders, from Lanvin to Balmain, from Tom Ford to COMME des GARÇONS; another, entitled Chanel, with Frank Ocean; a collection in collaboration with Guess; the role of testimonial for Calvin Klein; the presence in the front rows of the major runways; at the Met Gala with Simons crew.
And what about the video featured on Twitter where the rapper sings Please do not touch my Raf?
So it's no surprise that at last A$AP Rocky has produced, and presented in these hours, a new song entitled RAF dedicated to the designer Raf Simons.
The song featuring the participation of Frank Ocean, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti in the choir has been broadcast by Blonded Radio station on Apple Music.
A$AP Rocky calls him the god and praises him in a tribute published by Time, which has included him among the 100 most influential personalities of 2017:
"I feel like Raf Simons is important for the culture based on the fact that he built a whole new religion around fashion. When you wrap your mind around the concept that he wrote the future of fashion and design in the 1990s and early 2000s, then youíll also understand why Raf is the greatest to ever do it".
