July 5th, 2016
If there was a Hottest Sneaker of the Moment Award, Reebok would surely win it.
In the last few months the English sportwear brand hasn't missed a single hit, launching winning sneakers one after the other and working on new collaborations which have made its success real.
The latest one is that with Palace, announced just yesterday. But, before talking about it, let's take a step back and look at the five hottest Reebok collaborations launched by the brand in 2016.
#1 Gosha Rubchinskiy x Reebok
The last March the Russian fashion designer made a mini-collection with the Reebok's classic model Phase One Pro, which has been recreated in white, black and grey tones.
#2 Reebok Classic x Beams
Reebok teamed up with the Japanese lifestyle brand Beams for a capsule collection, which paid a tribute to the iconic NPC UK and recreated the traditional tennis uniforms with tech materials and trendy silhouttes.
#3 Kendrick Lamar x Reebok
The rapper is the official ambassador of the brand, for which he has been testimonial for the ads campaign (directed by Colin Tilley) and worked for a restyling of the very well-known Ventilator model.
#4 Vetements x Reebok
Last Sunday the fashion brand's last collection has been unveiled and it showed 18 collaborations with brands from any clothing categories. Among these there was also Reebok with its tracksuits recreated in the Vetements style.
#5 Palace x Reebok
Announced by a teaser on Instagram, the collaboration between Palace and Reebok was unveiled yesterday with a video-parody where the actor Jonah Hill impersonates a “paid spokesperson” fpr the promotion of the capsule collection of the two brands, who will be available on July 9.
