Gosha Rubchinskiy x Reebok Part II
@ PFW
January 25th, 2016
After the news of the launch of the Gosha Rubchinskiy x Vans collection, it looks like the Russian designer has scheduled a second collaboration with Reebok for this new year.
During his latest AW16 show - Save and Survive - which took place at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, Rubchinskiy revealed a potential partnership with the British brand putting on the runway the 80’s sneaker par excellence: the Reebok’s Workout Plus.
The shoe is entirely made of leather - both in the white and in the black version - showing, instead of the classic Reebok logo on the panel next to laces, the word PACCBET (which literally means sunrise), while we can glimpse a small stylized image on the tongue that probably represents a sunrise as well.
Gosha is definitely fascinated by the retro style but at the same time he’s redefining the trends of the present. We keep our eyes on him…
