5 Things to Do in Paris This Weekend
Weekend of January 12-14
January 12th, 2024
This week, Parisians experienced their first snowfall of 2024. With that, freezing temperatures arrived, prompting the need for your winter coats, gloves, and scarves. However, January is filled with enjoyable activities, from a recently opened Japanese fusion restaurant in one of Paris's oldest covered passages to the Lacøzy pop-up near the Canal Saint-Martin. There's plenty to do despite the chilly weather. Discover what the city has to offer this weekend.
To Eat - Yujin
Recently opened last week, nightlife entrepreneur Bryan Bridget, alongside DJ/Chef Chief P, leads one of the city's most authentic Japanese restaurants. Yujin, located in one of Paris's oldest covered passages, has just opened its doors to the Parisian public, offering a variety of delicious cocktails and traditional Japanese dishes. On the menu? Start with small shareable plates such as beef tataki, catch of the day, and karaage. Then, Japanese curry bowls with your choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian. Don't forget their miso soup, tamago eggs, wakame, or tempura vegetables to enjoy throughout your meal. And for dessert? Delicious mochis or their yuzu cheesecake. Another specialty? Carefully crafted classic cocktails like their Whiskey Sour, affectionately dubbed the "Hov," their Yujin Mule, a variation of a Moscow Mule, or a classic margarita called the "Kung Fu Kenny," not to mention the crisp Kirin beer, a Japanese classic. Whether you're looking for a relaxed place to meet friends or in the mood for a classic cocktail in a cool atmosphere led by two seasoned veterans of Parisian nightlife, head to Yujin.

Some may call them milliners, others sculptors; the two designers will be united for the first time through this unique exhibition where their pleated and fluid creations will allow viewers to uncover the mastery behind their art. Needless to say, the influence of these two geniuses has endured throughout the history of fashion, offering visitors the chance to experience their art up close through this presentation highlighting their craftsmanship.
