Lanvin announces a limited edition collection with The Surgeon

LANVIN is embracing a new spirit of savoir-faire with a limited edition release by Dominic Ciambrone, also known as “THE SURGEON.” LANVIN has invited the pioneeringartist to reimagine its iconic Curb sneaker. With a passion for self-expression and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and quality, Ciambrone has blended his California-born aesthetic with LANVIN’s Parisian sophistication.

Through a symphony of intricate detailing, the novel design combines traditional craftsmanship and embroidery with modern processes and techniques in homage to LANVIN’s couture heritage. The color palette pulls inspiration from both Los Angeles and Paris, blending soft hues of blues, tans, and beige, reminiscent of the California coastline where the sand meets the ocean. A pop of pink adds a playful element that rings true to surgeon ethos bridging sophistication and trend.The LANVIN Curb by surgeon is a rich collage of color, texture, and pattern; a marriage of old-school workmanship and cutting-edge technique. Remixing the house’s signature motifs and emblems with his personal iconography, the design showcases an extraordinary mélange of French heritage and authentic streetwear style. 

The collection drops on September 13th. The bespoke design will be produced as a limited edition and available exclusively at LANVIN doors in the U.S., Paris and online at lanvin.com.
