Zalando launches first Adaptive Fashion collections
140 styles created to meet the needs of people with disabilities
October 26th, 2022
With more than 140 styles created through its private labels, Zalando has launched its first adaptive fashion collection consisting of clothing, footwear, and accessories designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. Available in all markets, the company's commitment is to provide a truly inclusive assortment and experience for underrepresented groups by 2025. Also available is the Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive collection, with more than 130 styles including men's women's, and children's.
To help people with disabilities discover, browse, and purchase the adaptive fashion assortment, Zalando launched an adaptive fashion hub, pages dedicated to the adaptive collection, and an icon to identify adaptive styles. To do so, the company turned to All is for All to optimize the customer experience and raise awareness of adaptive fashion through the "Embrace What Makes You, You" campaign.
Zalando will continue to listen to and learn from the disability community in the coming months to further improve the adaptive fashion search and shopping experience for customers.
