COMME des GARÇONS brings on the runway the Nike Air Max 97

During the show of COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus staged in Tokyo, Rei Kawakubo has brought on the catwalk a new chapter in the collabo of the Japanese brand with Nike. Protagonist of the collbo are the Air Max 97, in 2022 will celebrate their 25 years with some releases worthy of note, among all the return of the iconic "Silver Bullet".

The two colorways presented by CdG, simply renamed "Black" and the "Sax Blue", keep all the most classic details of the Air Max 97, while the upper features a mottled effect inspired by the rails of Japanese high-speed trains. Created by Christian Tresser, the main inspiration for the sneakers are water ripples, while the midsole was the first to feature visible Ai pads along the entire length.

Both models will be released later this year to celebrate 25 years of the Nike silhouette, keep following us to not miss the release date.
