The new Triple Stitch sneakers by Ermenegildo Zegna
Functionality meets classicism
October 22nd, 2020
Finding a balance between the needs of the contemporary world and the historical heritage of almost a hundred years is a venture that would discourage most designers. But Alessandro Sartori, creative director of Ermenegildo Zegna, has already proven that is not like other designers. Among the many novelties he introduced at Zegna, there's also the Triple Stitch – a sneaker that for the FW20 season of the brand has received a significant update without losing anything of the classicism that has marked its success in the past.
For Ermenegildo Zegna's latest collection, the Triple Stitch silhouette has been redesigned with a new, more flexible construction and an ultralight rubber sole. What looks like laces are elastic instead, and in fact, the shoe can be worn with the comfort of a slip-on although it is closed. For this season, the sneaker will also be presented in a new fall colour palette.
