Timberland x Chinatown Market new boat shoes
The update of a great classic
October 12th, 2020
Timberland's original boat shoe, introduced in 1978, is both a footwear design classic and an item with a dense history behind it. The boat shoe is in fact one of the cornerstones of the most contemporary upper class American aesthetic, directed descendant both of the world of yuppies on vacation and that of the students of the Ivy League. This great classic has now been given a refreshment, thanks to Chinatown Market that has reinterpreted the classic silhouette following a mix-and-match of animal prints.
Both models in the collection come from tinge classified Silver by the Leather Working Group in terms of water and energy management, as well as waste disposal. In addition, both shoes are sewn by hand, shaping and mounting the uppers on the sole to be comfortable and flexible.
