After the teasing video released over the last few hours, the new collaboration between Lacoste and Chinatown Market is now official.
Launched in 2016 at ComplexCon with a series of shirts, Chinatown Market has quickly become a leading name in the streetwear and sportswear scene thanks to its ironic and nostalgic creations, perfectly represented in the smile logo. Chinatown Market reflects now real imagery, an aesthetic that goes beyond fashion to also spread into the world of basketball and interior design.
The brand already collaborated with Lacoste back in 2018 during the Hypefest, where fans could work together with the CTM team by customizing airbrushed polo shirts on site. For this capsule collection, Chinatown Market has invented a bold XXL crocodile on a T-shirt and embroidered in various colours on sweatshirts and caps. The range of colours of the collection is unexpected, with shades ranging from the sorbet colours of a polo shirt to the black of a hoodie. Finally, the American brand adds the motif of a globe on short-sleeved shirts for an ironic globetrotter look.
