032c's Quarantäne Fanzine
Shot by Timothy Schaumburg and starring Marc Goehring
April 17th, 2020
To present its latest collection "Love Sex Dreams", 032c has exploited the limitations imposed by quarantine with a lookbook that has the appearance of a fanzine (a term that indicates an amateur magazine, a mixture of fanatic and magazine) shot by photographer Timothy Schaumburg and starring the fashion director of the brand, Marc Goehring, who is also the stylist of the shoot.
The Quarantine Fanzine is designed as a gallery of shots made by a paparazzo, who invades the intimacy of the protagonist, reflecting on the themes of isolation and the post-quarantine world.
The pieces in the collection reflect on "truant minimalism" inspired by the 90s style of the West Coast with an injection of Berlin mood. Waxed canvases, acid wash, embroidered neoprene and intarsio knitwear are the main features of a series of essentials that rework the classic garments of workwear and Americana. The varsity jacket is perhaps the main item of the collection, along with a Coach Jacket with glossy finishes and a series of black intarsio sweaters. The collection covers all areas of menswear including sweatshirts, jeans, shorts, accessories and a large selection of oversized t-shirts.
The "Love Sex Dreams" collection by 032c is already available online on the brand's official website, while you can download the full version of the Quarantine Fanzine with the lettering inspired by the writings of Anselm Grin at this link.
