A$AP Nast and Bloody Osiris also participated in the launch of the new capsule collaborative

Last Thursday, in Berlin, an event was held to celebrate the launch of the new collaborative capsule by 032c WORKSHOP x SNIPES named Breaking Barriers. The collection is the fulfillment of a dialogue between two icons of the German street scene - an accomplishment that was celebrated in the middle of the fashion month and in the heart of Berlin, as if to emphasize the importance of this happening. On closer inspection, in fact, both 032c and SNIPES represent cultural realities before being streetwear brands: the former, in fact, was born as a magazine, one of the most important in contemporary fashion publishing, while the latter is a retailer that over the years has developed its vision in the form of a complete brand. The presence in the street culture of both is so deep-rooted that, in fact, this union was only a matter of time - and there were many protagonists of street culture who gathered to celebrate the launch in Berlin: A$AP Nast and Bloody Osiris, 032c editor Cassidy George and graffiti artist MODE2.
Freedom, Research and Creativity is the motto followed by Maria and Joerg Koch, the creative minds behind 032c, and it was also the set of values that guided the creation of the new Breaking Barriers capsule. The collection that the two companies have created is unisex and follows a minimalist philosophy, with grey and black colorways interrupted by flashes of green. The idea is to provide an essential wardrobe obviously inspired by the Berlin way of life and the many exponents of youth subcultures that animate the city: there are hoodies, track pants, shorts, t-shirts and socks. But the best pieces are definitely the Field Jacket and the Utility Vest. The jacket is military style with details such as pointed sleeves, a drawstring system and features embroidery on the back - the Vest, on the other hand, is more classic, with a Velcro patch detail and three-dimensional pockets. Accessories also include a green and black tablecloth as well as a set of branded laces that allow any sneaker to be made part of the collaboration.
