The refined winter of the n:ght novel
The FW19 collection pays homage to the music of Fabrizio De André
March 1st, 2019
It whispers. Mild. Then just a detail, a movement and it is transformed, decisive, strong.
The fashion of the n:ght novel (TNN) is: refined, discreet, radical. Like the music of Fabrizio De André. The one that made him immortal, the same as the song Le Nuvole that Francesco Moggi, designer and founder of the brand born in 2017 in Milan, has translated into a collection for the autumn-winter 2019. Turbulence collects a selection of basic items, far from the superficial frenzy of seasonal trends, which are rooted in Made in Italy. To make clothes, coats and bomber jackets important is the research for the selection and use of fabrics: the cotton Gabardine of the Italian manufacture Majotech and the Casentino Cloth, a 100% woollen cloth developed in 1537 to ensure a mixture of thermal insulation and impermeability to travellers. The details reveal the passion for music. So the linings are inspired by the cover of De André's album Le Nuvole, while the guitar is recalled in the shape of the flaps of the pockets, the pinstripes imitate the strings and a long line of buttons refers to the bridge pins of the instrument.
TNN's fashion intends to elevate its pieces to their deepest meaning, which is complex, unique, deeep. It is made of art and soul.
