G-SHOCK launches a collaboration with Gorillaz

The world's most resistant watch and the most famous virtual band on the planet.

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, G-SHOCK has decided to release a limited edition collection of new watches in collaboration with Gorillaz. Every watch was designed specifically for every member of the band, with the purpose of reworking a classic style.

Founded in 1938, G-SHOCK has always stood out for its innovative technology and for its ability to resist to gravity, cold, water pressure, all features that made it a watch built to last forever. The protagonist of the collection will be the square case model 5600, the first G-SHOCK ever designed, created by the engineer and founder Mr Ibe 35 years ago.

And who better than the virtual band founded by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett could be the symbol of innovation and success: according to Mr Ibe's words, it's going to be an intergalactic collaboration.
