Y-3 presents 'air between the body' inspired SS19 collection

After presenting his eponymous collection just a few days ago at Paris Fashio Week, last night saw the turn for Yohji Yamamoto to present his latest Y-3 adidas collaboration collection at Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The collection which was inspired by air between the body according to Yamamoto, saw the usual fine tailored cuts, in his staple, mostly monochromatic color schemes, to create elegant Asian inspired flowing pieces with a futuristic finish. Achieved further with his innovative use of fabrics which included GORE-TEX®, light nylon, engineered mesh, tech cotton, Adizero, and elastane.
When it came to the footwear the collection introduced a new silhouette called the Raito Racer, along with updated versions of the Kaiwa, Kasabaru, and hyped Y-3 Runner 4D.
